I’d like to think I’m a romantic, intelligent, artistic, caring and talented man. I tend not to be around people that are not serious. I am into photography, camping, bicycling, reading and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. See the list above. Best of all, doing things with that one special woman (if I could ever find her). Enjoy watching movies about science fiction, romance, classics, drama and comedies. For extra fun, I'd like to learn how to snorkel. I once was an excellent swimmer. I swam like a shark; even tried out for the Olympics a million years ago. However, time takes it toll; I'll need a little practice to get back into shape. I have a great passion for gardening and fixing things (even if they ain't broke). I'm the kind of man that can "dress up" to dine in a nice romantic restaurant or to dress down to eat a “FAT” burger with fries. Gotta have the fries... RIGHT! Am I healthy? Yes, I am healthy. No heavy boozing here. No smoking allowed and definitely no drugs allowed. With what little brains I do have, I am going to keep them in check.
My biggest ambition in life is to continue my search for the perfect life. Aren't we all? I’ve been an engineer for such a long time and I enjoy my work very much. But lately, I have been thinking of making some changes. I haven't a clue as to what I would like to do, but after 28 years of being an engineer, I'd like to see if I have what it takes to take on a new challenge. I think one of the challenges would be if I could find a wonderful woman that could accept me for who I am and not for what I could be or what I was. A kind warm hearted sweet smelling lady to give me the natural high every time I think of her, to be the reason of my inspiration, to spark the desire to live life to its fullest. Am I making sense? Are you listening out there?
Well, let's get our feet back on the ground. I also like strolling on the beach after sunset, stargazing... feeling the soft gentle breeze of the ocean's salty mist, holding hands with that special girl. I suppose you can tell by now that I am sensitive, sophisticated, passionate and affectionate, along with being honest with morals and principles, I might add. I am a soft hearted man. I guess you could say that I was a "kitty-cat" in many ways, but a ferrous tiger in others (you’ll have to wait and see --- ouu-la-la). However, you can try, but I can’t be tamed or broken.
I would like to meet a wonderful girl and then fall in love, to enjoy living life to its fullest together. I consider myself conservative but have an adventurous heart and spirit that comes with an open mind. I believe that hard work, continuously interested in learning and improving the intellectual level is extremely important. Gosh, I hate when people think I am a ‘noodle-head.’ I'm financially independent, I work out sometimes, but not a whole lot, exercise by bicycling, bowling or swimming. I think watching stock market is pretty important, but only in a sense of getting a handle what is happening with the economy. Let's see, did I leave anything out? Oh yes, I am the kind of man that will bring flowers to you... even if it isn't a real reason. Here’s a question for you; have you ever had a breakfast prepared for you by a man and served on the patio? My breakfast will knock your socks off...
Finally, (you didn't think I would ever get to the end, did you!) I want to find a warm kind hearted best friend that enjoys doing things together. Looking for a best friend to go on dates and enjoy from the simplest to the finer things in life... to enjoy the theater or to have fun at the bowling alley or just sit at home watching a Blu Ray, snacking on little goodies, or how about a slow bicycle ride at Newport Beach on a warm summer’s eve. Let's try, but first, you gotta send a message to me... it's about the only way that I know to get things started.

After a few emails to see if we are savvy together, I think for our first date, we would enjoy a nice quiet dinner together at a nice restaurant getting to know each other; then after dinner, maybe a stroll on the beach stargazing; then a dash of a surprising dessert. I ain’t telling where, but you’ll love it.
I don't believe in meeting for coffee or tea for our first date. That’s for couples after they have set sail, if you know what I mean. Coffee and tea time is something that is used to keep the fire burning. I’m from the Deep South and I believe meeting for coffee or tea is a cheap way to start things off and that is simply, not my style. To get the fire started one has to put his heart into it. If you’re a lady, then honor this chance and see me for whom I am; be treated like a lady. Believe it or not, no matter what has happened to you in the past, you’re a lady. You deserve being treated like a fine lady.
