I am looking for a lady, friend and partner, pleasant of feature and amiable disposition. Honesty, truthfulness and trust are important to me. A thinking person capable of rational thought but understanding that sometimes you just have to go with your feelings. Someone who enjoys physical activity as well as the quiet times. Some things we do together. We don't have to like all the same things but let the other person be who they are. I like learning new things. painting, reading, fixing things, building things, walking, physical exercise, the health club/gym, gardening, learning a language, travel to Mexico, surfing the Internet.

I like my kids and grandkids (mostly) and spend time with them or on the telephone. I don't have a pet but like them, our family pet was always a dog, mostly Springer Spaniels. I like fishing and camping and just being outdoors. I do not follow any particular religion, I usually put Spiritual that in my case means I believe in God but I will never quote the Bible to you and I don't accept papal injunctions or bible quotations as valid arguments. God is not the first thing in my life.

To the best of my ability I am considerate and give freely. I am not a user or a taker, I try to think the best of everyone when I can. I listen well. I strongly believe that what goes around comes around so I treat others as I would like to be treated. I laugh a lot but not at other peoples' expense. I don't drink, gamble or do drugs.

I am not always right and not near perfect. I do the best I can. Some days it's pretty good.

Conversation someplace quiet where we could talk, private enough that we could discuss personal stuff and issues, where you are comfortable, public enough to satisfy your need for safety. Restaurants and coffee shops work but we need some space. I had bad experience at Beyond Bread with an adjacent table clearly eavesdropping. We were very uncomfortable. Your home is OK with me if you feel safe with that.
