Happy, cheerful, intelligent adventurous woman looking for a gentle, thoughtful partner to share the wonderful adventure of life with. I work long hours, and am doing an MBA so don't have much time left over but will make time for that special someone.
I am kind, loving and gentle and seek the same. I like intelligent humor, ability to think outside the box, and am drawn to people who are interested in things others may not think about. If you are passionate about something I will want to know more. It could be anything from bird-spotting to model railways to Buddhist poetry. What is it that makes you you? I want to hear your story.
I enjoy physical fitness, have been a triathlete and wish I had more time to pursue this. I still try to swim, bike, run and lift weights. I have my own racing bike (bicycle) hand built for me and my pride and joy! I brought her from England. Oh, I'm English (of Irish/Indian descent). Although I consider myself to be mixed race I am fair skinned, but have little tolerance for racism, or prejudice of any kind.
I was raised from the age of 6 by my father who was in the British Army, so as an Army Brat I have moved constantly and am always willing to go visit somewhere new. I have lived in England, Ireland, Scotland, Hong Kong, Shetland, and visited France, Germany, Italy, Greece with stopovers in Bahrain, Gan and Singapore. I have lived in Florida for 5 years and have a green card, so don't need to get married to get one! One more year and I can apply for citizenship, and I will do so. However I haven't ruled out the possibility of living some where else.
I have two wonderful young people as my children. One is away at school and the other one is hoping to join the military soon. Time for mum to explore life on her own! : )
I love reading, writing, philosophy, poetry and am open to all religions and spiritual thought. I love movies, singing, dancing but am not a wild social animal. I will go to bars with a friend if there is a reason to go - good music, band, dancing or karaoke but I don't live my life in bars. You don't need to spend a lot of money on me, I'm not a gold digger, but neither do I like to be pushed around or criticized.
