I am a retired woman who is very active, on her bicycle every day in the spring, summer and fall. I enjoy gardening, helping with the grandkids, cooking and baking, working out, and reading. I am a quiet person who loves classical music, walks at the marina (summer and winter). It gives me a unique perspective on the world. I try to meditate because I like the calm. I am a mushroom forager in the fall.

I am a lifelong learner; my current projects include a class on soulwork and an investigation of loneliness as an opportunity for spiritual growth.
I don't like staying up late.

I am looking for an intelligent man (brains are very sexy) with a kind heart and a joyful, inquisitive soul (sadly, in my life I have met very few joyful men). I like a man taller than me, heavy is okay but not fat, a questioner of life. People who think they have all the answers do not interest me. I like a man who is good with his hands, is affectionate both within and outside of actual intimacy. It takes time for me to trust, so I am looking for someone who will take the time to establish a foundation of trust leading to intimacy.

I am an affectionate person. I want to hold hands and touch and be touched. I want a heart connection with a man. I am not terribly sure I have ever had one. I want to know what this feels like before I die.

I have many goals for my life. One would be to live unconditionally happy, no matter what. Not so easily done.

My idea of fun is to spend an afternoon in fall wandering through the forest looking for edible wild mushrooms. More fun is bike riding anywhere in the city (Thunder Bay). I totally enjoy making food for friends, especially homemade soups and cookies. Swimming with my grandkids. Working out to my tunes. Gardening in the summer.
