I'm a 57 year old Black women (soon to be 58). I love Music!!! Pretty much all kinds except rap (showing my age I guess). I love visiting Natl Parks and Yosemite is my favorite place in the world. I don't like flying much so I drive to most of my vacation spots. I would love to visit most of the national parks in the U. S.

Along with my love for music I love to dance, I'm a average dancer but at least I can keep a beat. I also sing when a song is playing I know even though I can't carry a tune. I take in a movie as often as I can, especially during "Oscar" time. I try to see all the ones nominated before awards night.

I prefer to work in the yard than stand in a kitchen but I'm capable of doing pretty much everything around the house. If it breaks I'll fix it. I tend to look for things to do and stay busy but I can also sit in front of a fire with a glass of wine and jazz playing.

I'm blessed with many friends and I treasure my time with them. We meet often for lunch or dinner and we take in plays, concerts, museums and sometimes play board games and poker. We're not good at it so we help each other with every hand. We're doing it for the fun not the money.

I have two grandsons which I adore. I'm allergic to cats but I have a dog, Roxy. She's 14 pounds and thinks I need to be protected from other neighbor dogs...she's so cute.

If I could a dinner party and invite anyone I'd like it would be John Kennedy, Fredrick Douglass, Helen Keller, Billie Holiday and Bob Hope. Who would you invite?

I'm looking for someone who sings in the shower even if they can't carry a tune. Dance even if they are off beat. Low maintenance, a little drama (because we have lived and it isn?t possible to
be without some). Will take the lead sometimes but comfortable being waited on and pampered. Likes the outdoors and likes to do light hiking. Can travel light and not mind me doing some of the planning. But it will also be w/your comfort in mind.
