I Would Describe Myself As

Well to be here at this point in life as you probably realize too, life just didn't go as planned, so here's an old fashioned man using a new fashion technology to bring life up to where it can be more satisfying and fulfilled, trying to find a partner to spend the rest of my life with... a tall order to be sure.
I have been here before, left for awhile, and now trying again, a little older, wiser, and not so much in a hurry anymore.
Here because i don't go to the bars, or join clubs just to meet people, and a relative new comer to the island as well, didn't bring my old friends with me and haven't met many here, just always seemed to be busy with one person or things on the go like renovating houses in my retirement to stay busy, love to work with my hands as i have always done.
I am a guy that likes the simpler pleasures in life, not into crowded places but do end up in them sometimes, love the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, x country ski, motorcycles, the imax, a nice evening out, reading, not much for tv and watching sports, maybe a good movie now and then.
I am stubborn, independent, patient, kind, dependable and wear my heart on my sleeve, not anywhere near perfection today but maybe tomorrow.
I am happiest when sharing with my partner, my time, my emotions, me...all that i am and am not, love to hold hands, touching, hugging, kissing any place and time. I am easy going, learnt a allot about life, more than i wished too, but maybe in retrospect that is a good thing now.
I know what healthy eating is, and exercise, not fanatically but keep in shape whether it is a run, weights, a hike, kayaking, or whatever, i have a use it or lose it attitude about the mind and the body.
I am looking for a lady who is like minded, healthy, fit, active, and has the time and will to make a relationship work.
Location is not a major problem, that can be overcome at some point in the future i would think. The person is what matters.
