As an avid reader, a book or recorded book is always at hand. I download literature to my I-pod so I can listen while I am at the gym. I enjoy word games, etymology, and enjoy playing Scrabble. I was brought up with classical music, but also enjoy jazz, zydeco, folk, and the Beatles. I also love animals, especially dogs.

Now that I am retired from teaching Anatomy and Physiology, I take classes that interest me. I have learned so much by taking Oasis classis. My favorite is Conversational Italian which I will use when I go to Italy this Fall.
