I was talking to a friend at a tango class I occasionally attend about how dancing is not about getting to a specific spot on the dance floor, but about enjoying each step of the dance. Words to live by.

About me: mountains, ocean, country, city, concerts, theatre, movies, reading, conversation, tea in the afternoon by a fireplace, riding motorcycles, growing violets, staying fit, cooking, weekend getaways, well the list goes on. I have my own business, which brings me joy every day without consuming it; friends who call when they don’t need anything; enjoy a long distance, non-toxic relationship with my mother; have no siblings to compete with; love but do not obsess over pets; and lucky to have a relatively baggage and drama free life. Well, maybe that’s not luck so much as a concentrated effort to keep them at a minimum.

Why a dating site? Partly curiosity and partly, like any woman, to meet someone who makes me want to gloss my lips, curl my hair and wear high heels. Or just sit quietly together enjoying the view.
