I am somewhat Qurkie as my daughters and grandchildren tell me. A bit sassy, sarcastic, funny, and even serious once in a while. I enjoy life and want others to enjoy it too. Having a sense of humor can do wonders for your own self esteem.
Yes, I really do believe that "our creators" came from another world. I have noticed so many people that are so arrogant to think that Earth is the ONLY inhabited Planet in so many Universes.
I love SciFi shows. Star Trek's, Stargate SG1 & Atlantis, Firefly, X-Files, John Doe, and Highlander being among a few that I watch. I also collect the books, posters, figures and other miscellaneous things about the shows. I also like Murder She Wrote, Diagnosis Murder, Columbo, Quincy and the like. I just started watching Burn Notice. It is another great show. Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone, Richard Dean Anderson, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Angela Lansbury, Julia Roberts, Whoopi Goldberg are among my favorite all time actors & actresses.
My main hobby is Genealogy. Searching for my family history is an exciting part of my life. Not just finding the names but what they were like, who the were and what their life was like is so interesting. I love reading about our history, no matter what Century.
I also love children of all ages. I have 2 daughters, 6 granddaughters & 2 grandsons. Some live a long way from me at the moment but we are close in thought.
Cats & dogs are my favorite friends. I only have one cat at the moment. She is 2 years old and named Hermione, after the Harry Potter character. I have all the books and look forward to all the movies as well.
Johnny Depp is also a favorite. His Pirate's movies are awesome.
I like camping either at the Ocean or in the Mountains.
I also like to sew, do crafts, knit and crochet.
