Love antiques and browsing through auctions when I get time. I write short stories for children, ( I have a young daughter who stays with me regularly) am interested in poetry and enjoy quality literature.
Favourite authors include Thomas Hardy, Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare of course and enjoy modern fiction and semi fiction with a focus on intrigue and conspiracy from a wide range of authors.
As for movies, Shawshank Redemption, Schindlers List, Of Mice and Men, Gone with the Wind, Chevy Chase never fails to amuse, The Green Mile, Road to Perdition, Avatar, All The Presidents Men, The Firm.
Have a passion for the Goons and Kenneth Horne and enoyed Seinfeld.
I have my own business as a course author and speaker/presenter and carry out consulting tasks on a regular basis.
To round this off, I enjoy philosophy and philosophical discussions equally, lightness and wit are a must have with memorable fireside chats and a welcoming glass of good wine to accompany simple, healthy and flavoursome, food; sometimes hastily prepared and at other times a days work. There is so much enjoyment in the preparation!
