I'm a mixed bag, takes time to know me!

These are so hard to write, puffing yourself up...but trying to be authentic. I am a mixed bag...love going out, but love being in with a nice glass of wine, appetizer and a good movie. Love all sorts of movies, maybe not horror? Enjoy being around family, have a large one and have nice relationships with great nieces and nephews. Like knowing what they are all up, as I have no children of my own. Married late in life so no kids! Married 8 years and now widowed. Love travel, am planning a big trip to Europe, to take in all sites I didn't see last time. Love road trips and want to still get up to Maine, to sit in a shack by the ocean eating Lobster, lots of it! I am an honest person, good sense of humor, patient and fairly out going.
I have faults, but would much rather talk about yours. I eat too much, excercise to little and am now on a quest to drop weight.
I have a bad hip, that I need to have surgery on, this is the incentive to drop the weight as I'm healthy in all other aspects. This month I will be 69...it was a very good year, same year I graduated high school! Attended Augsburg for a short time but did not get a degree. I have a degree...in life. As we all do!
So if your a nice man, honest man, who doesn't mind a hopeless romantic, someone who sings in the church choir and the occasional kareok bar...come find me!
