I am retired from both the United States Army and the State of Alabama. While in the Army, I worked in several specialties, at many levels and in many places around the world. I retired as a Sergeant Major in the Judge Advocate General's Corps.
After retiring from the Army, I was the director of a group tasked with preparing a plan for the continuing education of the State's judicial personnel, from administrative staff to the judges and justices themselves. Today this is an Alabama Judicial College. After that I was employed as the Purchasing Agent for all the State's trial courts and for the Admiknistrative Office.
But, now I am fully retired and enjoying life each day. My beloved wife passed on January 19, 2008, and I've been alone every since. I've mourned. I've grieved, Now I am ready to live life again on life's terms. So, I am trying to find that someone special, that companion with whom I can enjoy life ... go out to dinner, go to a movie, take walks, share experiences and problems as they occur. I want to be able to hold someone's hand. Could that someone be you?
