Dated very seldom the past five years, would love to make friends with someone who has a positive attitude, is smart enough to know he still has a lot to learn and confident enough to know he can. One who can both talk AND listen. And, if it’s not asking too much, someone who understands that sometimes even smart people can say and do rather dumb things. A man who is set in his ways, to do things with, not be rushed into something serious right off.I raised four sons, and have no family here so if you have children in your life, I am open to loving them too. I am a singer, song writer, musician, artist, so you dont have to be anyone but "you." I have been a homemaker all my life, lived in the woods and rural areas of Upper Michigan. Transplant two years ago by myself in Wisconsin, am interested in any activities and having a friend who just happens to be a man. I have met three men who had lost their wives in death to cancer. I am not interested in meeting men who live constantly in the past, have put their wife on a pedestal and compare everything you do to them. I live in the present, not the past. I moved to Janesville to "NOT" have a car and ride the bus everywhere. Hope to have a new life now that my sons are men. I have no grandchildren here so if you do, that would be a great plus for me if you shared. I am very young for my age.

With me not having a car, I would meet you at the library, walk over to a restaurant, and eat, and if it was not 24 below zero, take a walk by the river, and maybe hold hands. I would want a place not crowded or really noisy. I would like you taking me someplace after we met and got to know each other.

going on a river boat ride and dinner on the river, spending the day riding and seeing new places. Visiting a zoo or museum or an auction, going on a picnic,, or making a fire and sitting by it listening to music, oh whatever. I am new here, no friends or family here.

I enjoy and notice the simple things in life. It does not have to be "much" to entertain me, I am not materialistic and impressed by any toys, I like to go places, see things, and I hope to meet someone who enjoys fishing maybe or hiking, or camping, whatever, maybe a picnic, I love camp fires and fire places, cooking on the grill, never travelled much, moved way too many times.

A man who is confident and secure in "who" he is apart from anything he owns or drives or entertains you with. Some one who is real, gentle, not harsh, insulting or rude or insensitive.
