Once a mother ...

I Would Describe Myself As

Let's see - average height, brown(some gray) and blue. About 35 lbs overweight. I wear glasses. I am a cancer survivor but still struggle with other medical issues. I divorced my husband after twenty-seven years of marriage. I am the mother of seven children and grandmother of eight. Of the seven kids I had all but one were girls. My only son and I share a wonderful relationship and the girls are very supportive of me. Financially my income qualifies me as a victim of poverty. I have an apartment I rent, am able to eat somewhat healthy meals but any form of recreation is out of the question. The kids do chip in and take me to lunch occasionally.

Some say I had a real hard life growing up and my view of the world is distorted. I believe it is those tragedies and adversities that gave me the strength to be who I am today.

I have been single now for eight years. I am curious to begin exploring the option of dating. My primary goal is companionship. I am not interested in a romantic relationship at this time.

I don't attend church but do consider myself a born again Christian. I am looking forward to this new journey.
