I Would Describe Myself As

I've been a widow for a while now, and am ready to re-enter the dating world for fun and possibly a relationship. I love to go to the wilderness or the museums. I am in awe of most things in life, but dwell mostly on the good in it. I love people and like to feel that most have a good heart. My sons are in college, I support myself (I love my job, but am not married to it) and am basically starting over. It feels great!

For my own entertainment, I do portrait sculptures, murals and paintings, read a lot, play board or card games occasionally, play volleyball with friends who don't know how to play volleyball, watch movies, laugh, sleep, cook and generally enjoy whatever I do, even if it's just the dishes.!?

My main aspiration is to enjoy the rest of my life. I don't really care if I end up living "off the grid" or in a huge mansion, as long as I get to see my kids now and then, be there for them if they need me, dabble in the arts, cook and eat good food, stay healthy, stay spiritual, enjoy nature and feel love for and from those around me. That I don't aspire to a specific lifestyle is very freeing.

I don't "own" tons of stuff anymore, and don't ever want to again. I live simply and prefer it that way. If I had a trillion bucks, I would focus on how I could make the world a better place. Since I don't have a trillion bucks, I still focus on how I could make the world a better place, little by little. I absolutely love the "pay it forward" philosiphy.

I dress up when necessary, and get a kick out of it. But I dress down when I can get away with it. I love to lie in bed and talk and listen for hours. I miss that. I listen better than I talk, usually. I love to see others' point of view in even mundane matters of the heart.
