I look to you every day to keep me strong and give me the will to keep going forward. You always Stave Off the Darkness that held me in its grip like a giant vice squeezing the life out of me one turn at a time. I look at you and I see a light of life so bright I cannot help from being drawn to it like Moths to a Campfire on a dark night.
You are the reason I breathe the air that gives me Life in hopes that some time that day I will see you and breathe in your essence as I hold you close. Running my hands through your hair, my hand feeling every strand as it weaves over my fingers like fine strings of silk. Love to you is not a word or feeling; it is part of who you are how you choose to live your life.
I want to be lucky enough to be a part of it and try everyday to find things I can make better so I can be a part of your wonderful loving and kind world. You are the reason I still feel like a big kid and still get those butterflies in my stomach when I see your smile. I smell flowers in the mountain air and I think of you.
