I dedicate much of my free time to gardening. I take great pleasure in participating in the entire cycle of nature’s ongoing creation, by planting the seeds, nurturing the plants, harvesting the crops, and finally eating, canning or freezing the fresh vegetables from my garden. My Idea Of Fun Is

Surprising someone with a random act of kindness. Exploring new places just for the adventure, whether it's a town just down the road or on the other end of the country, or in another country. Cooking with someone that I love and sharing a romantic dinner with great wine and candlelight. Walking my dogs down a snow-covered country road on a crisp, cold, but beautifully clear and sunny winter day. Doing anything in Alaska. Fishing in a place where the water is clean and pure enough that I can actually eat safely the fish that I have caught. Planting seeds and watching them flourish and grow into strong, healthy plants producing nourishing food. Baking apple pie.
