I live in Lakeland, Fl. I'm retired, do have a few organizations that I volunteer with such as men and women overseas, and children in hospitals. I also help to rescue Greyhounds that are just coming off the racing track. I am with a group called Great. I so enjoy helping to see that these wonderful creatures of God get to their forever homes.They so deserve it after all the mistreatment that they have gone through in their short lives. Luke my greyhound now is been qualified as a therapy dog, so we'll get to enjoy this part of our journey together too. Life is a journey for us all. Luke and i go into Lakeland Hospital and the cancer ward and do our pet therapy there. It truly is so rewarding.All this helps to keep me busy.
I lived in Farmington,Ct for 22 yrs.and now I live in Lakeland, Fl. Have been here since 2004.
I'm retired from Aetna Insurance Company.Was a nurse in Ct. for 37 years. So glad to be here in FL. and living the good life now. Love the warm climate in the winter. Do enjoy traveling, doing day trips, and the bigger ones too.
I enjoy sewing and doing craft projects as my time permits.
