Been single for a while, been quite content but that has changed. I keep myself occupied by working in my workshop and volunteering at the Sydney Heritage Fleet shipyard at Rozelle (restoring the machinery on the 1913 ex harbour ferry) 2 to 3 days /week. The shipyard has a social aspect but it's all male. I enjoy eating/food (I'm slim). Will watch any movie when invited by someone else but more selective when I go on my own. Basic background born in the UK, but educated and married in South Africa, arrived in Australia 1979 and have lived on the Northern Beaches ever since. I trained as a marine engineer and spent a total of 18 years at sea, broken up by periods working ashore.
