I Would Describe Myself As

Hi;
I'm a no nonsense guy with an off the wall sense of humor. I love a good laugh and as a result, sometimes find myself at the receiving end of a garden hose! I love life and treat people the way I want them to treat me. I feel that four qualities are essential to make a relationship work and they are, Respect, Honesty, communication and co-operation. Without all four, you have nothing! Of course, a great sense of humor makes any day a joy for living. Intelligence really turns me on as does a person who is humble and caring. I have a very strong dislike for people who use and abuse, people who cheat and are lazy and above all, people who constantly look for fault in others. We are all different, that's what makes us unique and lovable in our own way. We are taken for the qualities we have and not for what someone else 'thinks' we should be! Smile at me, touch me, and be my best friend and you'll get it all back ten fold. I love genuine, sincere people that can function very well as an equal, a partner and not a 'my way or highway' type. I'm a good listener {how else do you learn?} and problem solver {sometimes a problem maker? lol} and care about what others have to say. Except, I don't have the time of day for the 'politically correct' or socialists. Be my friend and I'll be yours and I can just about guarantee happyness. It takes team work to succeed and dividends will pay off for life.
On the negative side of me {poor choice of words?}, I've raised my kids, they're grown and gone. I don't wish to raise anyone elses. I get deathly ill from the smell of cigarette smoke, and drunks and gamblers really turn me off.
I'm not a lap dog and I'm not looking for one. Be yourself and be happy about it and I can take you for who you are. I expect the same.
I'm not a rich person and I have a slight back problem but I have more love to give built up inside of me than Carter has pills. I don't use the word/term love losely and when you hear it from me, you can take it to the bank! I don't play head games and despise people who do. No need for constant 'testing'. I like a woman that looks after herself and is some where between 5'3" to 5'7" tall and of slim to average build but good people come in all shapes and sizes.
Viewing someone's picture is a MUST for me. It must be available in order for me to communicate. I'll do the same.
I just want to live and be happy. If someone helps me do that then she can rest assured, I'll try and do that for her.
I live for the FUTURE because that's where I plan on spending the rest of my life!

My Idea Of Fun Is

To me fun, is a group activity {even if there are only two in that group} where we can laugh and accomplish something good. Something that builds our character and draws us closer together. Fun, to me, means building new friendships and coming off the end of the day with a smile from ear to ear because of what the day has provided. If I feel 'warm and fuzzy' inside, then I've had fun and would do it again! Fun can be a day of quading, snowmobileing or just walking around the block holding hands with someone special. I always have FUN when I'm outdoors, enjoying the moonlight or listening to 50's doowop or 60's rock'n roll music. Fun, to me, is anything that will make you smile.

I look for intelligence first. Humor next. Physical attractivness follows in third spot.
I look for someone who can give and receive love and is a partner and not lazy or demanding. I look for someone who can get along with most people and is openly {not overly} proud of herself and what she has accomplished in her life. I want someone who has a genuine interest in me and smiles all the time.
I'll tell you what will send me running and that is smoking, tatoos and body pierceing. I never was a big fan of the circus.
