Know the feeling about trying to explain who you are. Its not reasonable to think that everyone on dating sites are beach crazy and wants to travel. I like going to the beach too but am fairly new to the Puget sound area my thinking is Beach means Ocean? Then I think maybe the beach’s on the sound? it's crazy? I feel a little like you about being intimidated by all the hype and the unrealistic (in my opinion) things wanted? Trips to Spain, or France and am impressed by the needs of “some small percentile” that what men in the money bracket of 100,000s of dollars per year. would be nice I guess? But all that green does not buy true anything.
Gosh I ranting on and on am really just a retired guy looking for a someone who a wants monogamous love, a lot of hugs, communication, a commitment, short trips to the ocean or mountain maybe. I can be bribed into clothes? That would fit into most\some of the eating places, It is not that I don't like a burger-king once in a while, but I like home cooked meals best. Soup in cold weather yum. what am looking for is a lay-ed back lady that enjoys the slower things in life
Am retired Military and from my own business, living with my son or he with me? Pick (economic reasons) Enjoying retirement, my son gave me a kindle? best gift ever I like to read, the last six months 140 books not real difficult books, But who dun it mysterious types, But books can not and do not hug, nor cuddle nor any thing. I was married 45 yrs. She passed away? She died and went to a better place they say? Don't know who started that expression and am not so sure about it? As you can see am not overly religious, If my partner is committed to religious attitude I would supported her and her believes. I am more of a spiritual person, but open to most religious experiences I was raised Catholic.
Tolerance as long as they are not fanatical. Meditation and spirituality helps me live in the now, with focus on intent and being present to evolve as a better human being. Wonder were that’s going?
