I'm an easy-going person; my character is dedicated, cordial and faithful; I believe in being upfront and honest with those around me, I wouldn’t want to short-change anyone. I don't alter my reality with alcohol drugs or lies, but rely on inner strength to get me through periods of adversity. I don’t try to tame my hair unless I need to look corporately correct. Spiritually I practice mindful gratitude. Most kids like me because I sincerely like most of them. I appreciate the loyalty of dogs, and the independence of cats, so we like each other too.

I’ve been alone for some time now. I’ve taken that time to re-remember what I want from life; I just recently decided to put love back on my to-do list. I'm not afraid of being alone; I just prefer not to be. I’m missing someone special to be nice to. I miss the warm breath of a lover whispering in my ear. It would be nice to find a great women to enjoy. I am an affectionate man who truly embraces romance and I’m looking for the same qualities in a lover/friend. I believe that good kissing and long hugs are food for the soul. I love being in love, it adds special meaning to every day.

I’m looking forward to meeting someone to share the simple things in life with; to enjoy what a dating relationship has to offer, and getting to know and finding out about each other; a woman that I can love, laugh and have great conversations with. I long to have her wake up in my arms in the morning and sleep in on the weekends while we take each other in; it’s the ultimate experience of the togetherness.

As for those who say they don't want someone with baggage - well, at this stage of life if you don't have baggage, then you haven't really lived, have you? However, what's important are the lessons you've learned from the good experiences as well as the not-so-good ones, that life throws at all of us. We learn from our past; what we do with that knowledge speaks of our character. I'm looking for someone who like me has weathered life's disappointments and heartaches, but hasn't lost her optimism or faith in life, love and the future. I want someone to move forward in life with and embrace it (and me) with passion and enthusiasm. I want to look at her from across the room and feel something melt inside and realize just how lucky I am to be with such a special lady; I want us to feel blessed for having each other, and mind games are not of thought.

What we get out of a relationship is proportional to what we put into it. I believe balance in a relationship is important. It would be nice to find a healthy balance between two people; a harmonious balance between lust and love, lovers and friends, and the profound and the silly. I want a relationship that will bring out the best in us, and makes us both strong and happy to be together. You don't have to like the things that I like, think like me, or be like me in any way.

It is only with the heart one can see clearly, what is essential is invisible to the eyes. I appreciate romance where silence and glances are louder than words. I think that time is the most valuable thing you can give to someone whom you have chosen to be with; making memories is priceless, whether doing something out of the ordinary or nothing at all remarkable. Life doesn't have to be arduous, I think “Attitude” is everything; to be happy, you must first believe you can be.

We cannot change the past, but we can enjoy the present, and look optimistically towards the future. If we spend too much time looking backwards or sideways, it keeps us from seeing and seizing the moment at hand. You made it to the end. I took the time to write it, and you took the time to read it.
