Looking for a local friend, someone to attend fairs, festivals and local events with. That's all that's missing in my world. For the first time in lifetime, I am living alone and LOVING it. I have spent 59 years of my life taking care of husbands, children, parents, grandkids ect. So now its "ME" time.
Maybe I don't have to look on line for a friend. All the single people here in the mobile home park, are coming to my yard every Friday nite all summer long.
If you would like to join us, roasting hot dog & toasting marshmallows let me know.
My Friday night get togethers, have worked out very well. It's a family park but, so many in my age group. It's way to easy to become isolated, nothing but the TV. This gives them something to look forward too.
Different folks every week but, always just two or three guys, eight or ten gals, and two or three kids. Really a lot of fun.

just a local friend. My husband was in Somerford Alzheimer's care home in Roseville, he found himself a girl friend, ahhh caused so much trouble. Made the family decision, he would be better off in the Veterans home close to his oldest daughter in Texas.
