I Would Describe Myself As

That's me in my serious business look. I have a real passion for finding natural moments - not those typical, posed shots. I have a chance to work all over as a self employed.Friends say I'm funny, love to laugh and smile, that I'm a thinker who is always loyal, articulate, and down-to-Earth. I've been single/divorced for many years,Travel excites me immensely....looking at interesting Old World art, finding exciting restaurants and other cool places... in the U.S.: NYC (The Frick Collection, Vermeer works in person and up close!), Nantucket (have a place there), Santa Fe, Napa especially Yountville and St. Helena, old Charleston. Elsewhere: Provence = heaven as does Tuscany, the Amalfi coast especially Ravello, and Germany. I do a lot of work and travel to Asia/Pacific, too, but Europe so rocks my world- Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam - oh my, Rembrandt at his best?; The Louvre and Musée d'Orsay in Paris; the relaxed lifestyle of Italy with its amazing food whether simple or not, gorgeous scenery and their sense of style. I enjoy wine discoveries in both new and old world styles, tastings and winery visits to learn more and to meet the folks behind the label. I enjoy pairing wine with the perfect food and vice versa. I love driving around in an open-top convertible to music an a perfect day (or night). I like to be invigorated on an ultra-inclined treadmill or brisk neighborhood walk a couple of times a week - especially if there's no snow and ice. As an empty nester now. I am selling my now-too-big empty-nester home to head back to high-rise living. My loving, happy children are the greatest source of happiness and pride. :) I live life with heartfelt passion, enjoy people and making new discoveries. When not away I hang out in my North Buckhead neighborhood and other mostly in-town places, I frequent restaurants like St. Cecilia, Watershed, KR, Houston's -my old standby, The Optimist, Portofino, F and B, Ecco, La Tavola in VH to name a few. I also try an occasional "hole in the wall" in search of nontraditional excellence or ethnic flavor. I am also really into well made films, especially the art house/independent type often shown at Tara, Lefont, etc. I am looking for a self-confident, trusting, smart and drama-free woman who has time in her own busy life to share fun and fulfilling experiences like laughing, making discoveries with me, traveling to new and old places, spending joint time in the kitchen trying out new recipes with or without other friends, discussing books we're reading together and chatting about current events, sports, or maybe just heading to the gym together for a morning working out or brisk walk around the neighborhood.
