I am retired from teaching and administration in higher ed, mostly at UT. I devote myself to fine art photography, which has become my true calling.

I think I bring to a relationship a basically good-natured outlook, a cheerful manner, and lots of experience in listening well. When my companion talks, I focus entirely on her. When she feels strong emotions, I respond with sympathy and support. I bring absolutely no emotional baggage, no unresolved anger, no hidden agendas. I never try to "win" the conversation.

I have done so much in my rich and fortunate life, there's nothing left on my check-off list. If you want to ride a ski machine in the North Woods of Minnesota, I'm ready and will have a boatload of fun doing it -- but it's not on my list.
