A really long lunch...if nice weather, maybe a picnic or sitting outdoors by the water. Some good, light food with maybe a glass of wine. With enough time and space to start to really get to know someone and relax...not be hurried. If time permits, a walk along the water or one of the great walking trails. With plans made for more fun activities in the near future.

It varies. Some ideas:
-A good dinner out- intimate bistro with music and maybe dancing afterward
-A weekend get-away, driving to Portland, ferry to Victoria, or a weekend at an ocean cabin maybe with some fishing
-A home cooked picnic on the floor in front of the fireplace with some good wine/scotch and ending with chocolate and ourselves for dessert :-)

I have enjoyed and appreciated different physical types in my life. Usually a man's comfort with himself and appreciation of me are the most important factors. Aspects which have been significant:

- take self lightly
- interest in the community and the world
- a good friend and family member, but not needy
- ready to partner with someone
