I'm kind-hearted, honest, natural, and try hard to do no harm. I'm a pretty good cook. Spirituality is important to me, but I don't really believe in God, though I do appeal to Him on occasion. :-) I don't want someone strongly religious. I enjoy sharing humor (life can get pretty grim without it). I'm intelligent, and well-educated but never became a successful professional. I like to do lots of different things -- gardening, crafting, reading fiction, dancing, yoga, hiking -- and I'm open to trying new things. I'm friendly but shy with new people.

What Do You Look For?

Honesty, strong values, and a good temperament are very important. I want a nice man who's interesting, has a good sense of humor, and is competent. I think I'm more compatible with intelligent men, but not necessarily an intellectual. A little empathy and thoughtfulness make me feel cared for (no superficial gestures necessary, though). Looks aren't very important if I grow to like you. I do much prefer slimness, though, so if you're much overweight, I'll probably be bugging you before long to eat healthy, exercise more, and lose weight. I like kids fine but doubt I'd enjoy having them around all the time.

If you want a one-night-stand, look elsewhere. No slick, charming operators, please. I need to get comfortable and feel safe with someone before intimacy is an option.
