I Would Describe Myself As

The best place on the planet is in the hammock in the country garden surrounded by fragrant flowers and trees, with the sound of water, a good book and at the right time of day, a glass of a delicious wine. It's great to be there alone, with a houseful of guests or best of all with one special man.
Then there all the other places on water, seas, oceans, lakes with rules about noise and rivers in a canoe or kayak or waders with a fishing rod. I'll go anywhere there is water...... no ice though, got to be sunny and warm..... on a boat.
Then there is the city. I am a downtown girl and like to be in the centre of town where the action is, theatre, concerts, art exhibitions, small dinner parties, big parties with a great orchestra. Love to work a room and make connections. Nothing pleases me more than to connect people with people or ideas and watch sparks fly. That also goes for people or organizations that need help. Love sharing meals with a small comfortable group discussing everything from extraterrestrial life to politics ( although that's a bit depressing at the moment) and where to find a good carpenter. There is always something new to learn and think about and always lots of laughs. I like getting all those computer jokes and pictures of cute creatures. Did you see that penguin with a backpack doing errands in that Japanese village!?
Would love to share all that with some one who also enjoys life, loves to laugh, likes to explore new places and ideas and meet new people. Now if he likes to dance - perfection.
Don't forget there is always the hammock waiting or the fireplace when it gets too much. Every room in my house has at least one comfortable spot to read and a full bookshelf.
I am honest and straightforward, perhaps a bit too straight forward I'm told but always generous of spirit. I'm reliable and punctual mostly and get really irritated by people playing games unless I am watching the human dynamics from a distance. Then I am fascinated. Can you believe what some people will do? Always interesting and better when shared.
