I am a woman who admires loyalty, intelligence and someone who is not exactly a party-girl! I don't smoke, don't drink (since I'm single, I drive myself everywhere) but don't mind someone who takes a social drink. I love travelling and especially to the USA since I live only 40 minutes from the USA/Canada border, and often visit Duluth, Minn. I live alone, have 2 adult children in Thunder Bay and only 1 wonderful, adorable grandson. I am spiritual, not exactly religious, have worked diligently all my life, but am now retired. I am very close to my siblings, however, do spend a lot of time alone. I am particularly interested in historical fiction reading, love going to the movies and would like to dance again since its been many, many year. I have been divorced since 1989. My grandson is the love of my life and as mentioned, very close to my family members. I am interested in meeting someone who doesn't want to "own" me but enjoy our time together. Since I'm Canadian, I don't really fit into the classifications listed (I think). Most Canadians keep their political views to themselves - we are unlike the Americans who place identifying religious labels on their representatives while here in Canada we rarely, if ever, know if our politician is Lutheran, Catholic, Presbyterian, whatever - its personal and I really wouldn't want to get into someone trying to change my views and I won't try to change yours! Vive la difference!
