I Would Describe Myself As

Bring on the romance, the fun and the passion. I'm looking for an adventurous, active man who knows his way round the world - metaphorically speaking (geographically would be good, too). And if you know your way around a kitchen, that's a definite plus. As for me, I am a refined and attractive Englishwoman who redefines the phrase 'young at heart' and has a taste for the better things in life:   the theatre, whether on stage in a Neil Simon comedy or in the front row, enjoying the latest Broadway musical: music, where my tastes run to  Frank Sinatra-Michael Bouble: and  art, in particular  Mary Cassatt and The Impressionists. 
I also love dining out, especially if seafood is involved. 
The reason I mentioned 'active' earlier is that I'm not someone who likes to stand still, whether it's keeping fit through yoga or the gym, dancing the night away or traveling overseas (Italy is a favourite). 
In my rare quiet moments, I enjoy a good book (Jeffrey Archer for intrigue, Bill Bryson for humor), an arthouse movie or a stroll around a museum (I work as tour guide of one of the region's museums).
