I would enjoy a restaurant that neither of us has been to before. We can sit and chat and get to know one another. We could then go to Bass Pro and try and shoot the ducks in the shooting gallery! :)

I've never had the opportunity to take a cruise or to do a zip line. I've traveled quite a bit over the last 6 years, but would like to someday add a cruise to my repertoire of things I've done.
One thing I would love to do is swim with the dolphins. I know there are places that you can go to to this. Whale watching is another interest of mine and I would love to do this also.
I am a good cook. Maybe Rachel Ray could teach me to be a great baker.

I enjoy getting up early and getting in a walk or run to start the day off. I like hitting cozy little towns in Michigan and taking in the sites. I enjoy watching football and hockey on TV. I had the opportunity to see the Hawks play Detroit last Spring and it was awesome. The cooking channel and DYI network interests me too, as well as other interesting programs. The wineries in Michigan are fun to see once in a while and hitting some off the beaten path places to eat is right up my ally. I enjoy hitting the beach on Lake Michigan or a pool in the summer.
I love to travel and explore places I've never been. I bike ride when the weather permits but am not a marathon biker or jogger. I have pets and they are a very important part of my life. They are very therapeutic!

I know what I don't like. I do not enjoy being around pompous loudmouths. I know your first impression is when you first see someone, but I feel you have to get to know someone before you judge then. There are a lot of good looking creeps out there. I look for one's personality and how they treat others. Someone who is caring and compassionate is more important than someone who looks like Antonio Banderas and is a jerk.
I want to develop a friendship first and then see where things go from there. I do not believe in jumping into something after a couple of dates.
It is important to me to get to know that person and figure out what they are about, and vice versa. Distance is a factor. I would like to meet someone within 50 miles or less. It makes getting together much easier.
