Living happily in Denver, after 30 rewarding(and hot) years in SE Florida. I live a compassionate life, loving and protecting human and non-human persons. Having traversed several spiritual paths, I have remained with Buddhism for sixteen years and live by Buddhist principles. We have all lived and learned from our lives and having emerged on the other side of challenges and tragedies more kind and hopefully, more wise. Personal development, meaningful relationships,laughter, meditation, enjoyment and benefiting others are significant mainstays for me. I am an ethical vegan and my love for animals is evident in my home: a precious Pekineses rescue named Bodhi, four wonderful cats(all adopted me), birdseed all over the balcony, and peanut shells on the ground below my balcony(squirrels). I am a psycho-spiritual therapist/educator, in practice for 40 years, specializing in eating disorders, substance abuse, life issues. LOVE my work. Hope to be able to do it till my last breath., In the 1980's-90's I lived in India and after the first time(6 months), I knew my life had changed forever. Nothing to complain about in the US when it comes to conveniences, comfort, opportunities. Visited countries in Europe and South America, as well as many states-for meditation and spiritual study retreats. Hope to do many more.
