I am very much a ‘young at heart’ 76 year young widower enjoying retirement after a long and enjoyable working life. I have a positive outlook and want to make the most of everyday. I enjoy a joke and always try to see the light hearted side things. In fact I’m quite famous for my ‘dad jokes’ (or ‘bad jokes’ as some would say)!! My family are very important to me. Life is too short to be miserable or dwell on the past. Trust and honesty are also very important to me and I feel that I am an honest person with old fashioned values. I am a gentleman and believe a lady should be treated like a lady. I like nothing more than to take a drive out for a nice lunch as I enjoy both driving and good food but I'm not a big drinker, I like the odd glass of wine or pint I also love to travel and get away from the dull English winters so would like to meet someone who has the same values and outlook on life and, like me, would like a companion who lives not far away to see other parts of the world, maybe go on a cruises and generally take each day as it comes.
