I Would Describe Myself As

I have been divorced for over 10 years and have 4 grown up children, none of whom live with me now. I have not had any real relationship since my divorce and have increasingly come to the realisation that I don’t want to spend the rest of my life alone. I keep fit and love to travel. I recently returned from a month travelling around Australia. Whilst I had a great time and met many interesting people I came to the realisation that it would have been so much more enjoyable to share my experiences with a partner. I love hillwalking and getting out into the countryside. I no longer work full time but help out twice a month at a local voluntarily run cafe. I am very social and love meeting new people. In the past year I have come to the realisation that, if I don’t want to continue living an isolated life, I need to be proactive and make an effort to do something about it. So this is the start of the new me.
