I am generally calm, patient, and listen. Folks around me can expect to have fun and laugh a lot. I am passionate about exchanging ideas and learning new things. Sometimes you have to give up what you know to find out what you don't.
Good health and physical fitness has always been a priority in my life. I started exercising regularly in the army many years ago and have never stopped. I was a competitive runner for many years and my current workout regimen includes weight lifting, running, biking and yoga. I enjoy reading, going to museums, and theatrical performances that leave me thinking. Exploring different cultures through travel gives me joy. A recent remarkable travel experience was a bicycle tour around Cuba. While I am active and adventurous, moments of calm and reflection are essential.
