Hi, I spent 21 years as an industrial chemist, and fifteen years as a physics teacher. Now retired, I write history books but have spent too long on my own. I live in a 2 bedroom stone cottage in Compstall, Stockport. built in 1820 with a stream behind me and Etherow Country Park in front of me.
