I Would Describe Myself As

I tend to work hard, and so I welcome finding people to relax with during my down time. You can usually put me in any type of setting and I will make the best of it, such as sports, traveling, festivals, concerts, socializing with friends, and just spending time with each other. My heart is probably the best quality about me. I am someone that sometimes cares too much and I don’t see that as a fault, but of course I run the risk of my heart being a little tattered from time to time. It is always open and willing to welcome in family and friends. I love to laugh. I can ski down a mountain on a set a skis, even if it is only on the easy trail. Riding a motorcycle has been my pastime. I love to sit curled up in front of a fireplace on a cold winter night; I don’t mind working with another to clear a snowfall. I enjoy the performing arts. I was raised with deep-water fishing. I don't mind riding in a boat and letting the wind blow through my hair, and I think it would be awesome to ride the everglades in an air boat. I’ve had the fast cars in my lifetime (428 Mustang Mach I Cobra Jet, 455 Olds Cutlass W-30, 55 Chevy Sedan). I’ve been through the 48 continental states and have seen God's beauty out there. I have been through college twice and have two degrees (accounting, and mid-life-change-of-career in nursing); and now I am doing the Good Lord’s work in my profession as a nurse.

*** I am open to GOD'S WILL.*** How can I write a list of qualities of the man I am seeking if I don't know all the intricacies of your life? The next man that reads this might be the one that God has chosen for me. Or I might meet that man the next time I am at church. The main thing I want to say is that I am open to God's will. I don't want to limit myself to what "I think" I want... you might have so much more to offer and be able to enrich my life in ways that I cannot even imagine. I am looking for you to first become my best friend, then possibly more. You don't live in a certain geographical location, certain look, have a particular job, or drive a certain car. You are just "you" and know what true love means. I am looking for someone that takes the time to truly get to know a woman, everything that is perfect and IMPERFECT about me, someone that knows there are so many special qualities that are hidden behind the smile.

I am looking for someone that has a heart that matches mine in the love of our God and serving others. I want someone that I can walk along with to grow in my faith and who I am as a person. I am inquisitive and enjoy learning about people. While I enjoy the strength of a man physically and being wrapped up in his arms in a hug, it is the meaning of the hug that means the most to me. I want someone who can touch my heart. It is important to have that connection with someone when we just "click" ~ knowing we have that connection when conversations can last for hours or sometimes when the unsaid gestures mean the most. It is great having the intellectual conversations, but then also just to be goofy together. I want a man that can make me smile just by him being himself.

It would be great to have someone to spend time with and lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy doing things outside and appreciating the four season. Of course I am like any woman who appreciates the romantic gestures, even if it is as small as gently brushing my hair off my face with a wink. I realize my age, so I accept the possibility of my future spouse having children already. When it comes to any other children, I just will follow God's plan. Yes, I am on here like most of us to potentially find my spouse, but making wonderful friends along the way is more than welcome!
