I am a happy person with a love of beauty, truth, laughter and music......so good for the soul! I have had an interesting and varied life so far. I've enjoyed successes but there've also been down times. I try to look for the positivity in all situations and to learn from my mistakes.
Caring and compassion for others is important to me. I love my grown up son, even though he has tested my patience and tolerance to the max he's taught me some important life lessons without even knowing it.??
Unfairness and dishonesty makes me sad and I have an abhorrence for those who dole it out. I'd love to find someone to share all the possibilities and negativities that life can throw at us.
I am adventurous and sometimes mischievous. There's nothing as joyful as falling in love, those moments should be savoured....when we're young we don't fully appreciate how fleeting joy can be. People who always impress and interest me are those who are comfortable in their own skin - easily identifiable when it's not real.
I have great girlfriends and remain good pals with ex's, life's too short not to be don't you agree? I am a caring person and I enjoy doing lots of different and interesting things...visiting galleries, museums, theatre, movies, restaurants, walking in beautiful locations, shopping and so on.
I don't do boredom but I'm not particularly looking for the bright lights.
I'd love to find someone who's kind, sincere, deep but with a sense of fun, easy going, generous and who cares about people and making a difference in the world. He should take care of himself and be interested in the world around him. Someone strong and confident, without pomposity, can take control without undermining, articulate and stylish without pretentiousness, protective of loved ones. Oh, and it would be wonderful if he loved music, Hay-On-Wye and the sun as much as me. If you're reading this get in touch.
