I Would Describe Myself As

Hi .. I'm wanting to find an HONEST, emotionally mature individual who is NOT "ruled" by a MIDDLE-AGED family member! (totally destructive), A man who knows himself and knows what he wants for the rest of his life! (There is not much LEFT, boys, no matter how healthy we are ...)! I'd like to meet someone who is willing to "share" himself, his ideas and just absolutely enjoys the fact that he is alive. He needs to be "fit" and have an enthusiasm for life! (NO, not a cliff-hanger type). I'm honest, loyal, trusting-to a fault, and trustworthy, sincere, loving, can be very affectionate when we reach that point, and I want the same! I think holding hands is really a warm and sincere gesture. The little things that demonstrate that you "really" DO care, and it must be spontaneous to be real. I'm a strong personality, definitely have my opinions, but that doesn't mean I don't "listen" and "learn!" I enjoy sharing ideas. I'm very comfortable in jeans and cowboy boots - I really want a horse, again. I can hold my own in heels,business suits or formal attire. I "mix" well with individuals and have worked with the public my entire working career--been a working fool! (Bad husband choices hasn't helped that "trust" thing, either)! I'd love to meet someone FUN and who just wants to LAUGH and ENJOY the simple things in life! We could go for a walk, go to dinner, to the movies, Miniature Golf, watch TV - I'm pretty easy going. That's me and who I'd like to meet. (I return what I expect). I'm NOT a DRAMA queen--lived with one of those for years, and UNFORTUNATELY for me, I'm more of a "fix it" person which just leads me down a "waste of time" road in a lot of cases! (I always have the need to make you want you to "understand!)" I think, at this age, and with the last "fix it" situation that was a WASTE OF TIME and about three years of my life--I'm done with that! ha ha! Now, don't get me wrong--I don't want to "change" anyone! YOU are YOU--that would be WHY I like you, but it is heartbreaking to watch someone be SO OBVIOUSLY "manipulated" and they can't or maybe won't SEE it? SO FRUSTRATING, but again, not my issue! I finally had to just walk away! It is SO DISTRESSING when see that little puppy in the middle of the road and you KNOW what is coming and they won't listen.(Stupid woman--WHY should you care if they don't)! So--NO DRAMA KINGS, PLEASE! I'm NOT interested in "playing," either! No two dates and "payback!" NOT my style. I want a "serious" person--even if it doesn't work--that's life! It is the "attitude" and the "effort" that matters. I work very hard and have very little time or energy for individuals who are just "dating." I don't want a "casual" relationship. I've been basically single for over 25 years, my choice, but generally because of my work schedules, and I'm getting a little tired of talking to me! ha ha I know that I'm fun to be around--told that all the time! I have lots of true friends in different states who contact me weekly if not daily. That is a nice thing to count on in this life. Oh ... don't let the age concern you.
