Compassion, kindness, loyalty, and commitment when the relationship warrants such; without loving kindness and commitment, I cannot fake feelings and giving and neither can my potential partner--finally after my late husband after 8 years, I recently thought I found love again ; and I wanted to leave this new partner because after a year, he became verbally abusive to me in private but not in front of his family or friends; he announced that he was no longer committed to me but still loved me--what does that mean?--to me, his message was that he had a ticket to look for someone else while being with me in between. NO WAY--I immediately left him in the dust; I was supported by my friends and family and general provider doctor who said that this was a potential domestic-violence-type relationship waiting to happen, which I have never experienced in my life, and it was scary to me.
