I’m pretty laid back without drama in my life. I miss having that special man to enjoy all the wonderful moments in life, and some of the sorrows. I enjoy experiencing so many things in life, but I also like a quiet night at home. Time with my family and friends are important. While spending time with my partner is important, so is my alone time. I have no desire to be joined at the hip with anyone. I try to lead a healthy lifestyle. I retired a few years ago as the Director of a Counseling Center and now do volunteer counseling through my church. I enjoy reading, watching movies and some TV series. I love being outside. Sold my house at the lake two years ago and downsized. Im not crazy about watching sports on TV, but don’t mind if you watch. I do like watching IU basketball.

Meeting for coffee or drinks somewhere that’s not really noisy, so we can get to know each other. Depending on the weather a walk through the park would be nice. We’ll both have an idea of how much time we want to spend together.

Min forestilling om hvad der er sjovt er

Fun can mean so many things. It can be fun to sit snuggled together and watching the sunset. It can be fun to stand and cheer with thousands in a noisy concert. For me fun is doing most anything with someone I care about. A sunset can be beautiful, but it takes on a new meaning when you share it with someone.

Hvad leder du efter?

I look for a man who treats everyone with respect....that means the wait staff and the janitor and the obnoxious 5-year-old kid. As long as I’m dreaming, I’m looking for a man who thinks I’m amazing and treats me as special after ten years as he did after ten days. I hope he is self assured and able to laugh at himself. I’d like him to have healthy relationships, especially with his family and his mother. And I’d want him to like himself, without being snobby.
