I am a widow looking for friendship or casual relationship to start with. I retired in 2010 to take care of my husband and give us a chance for some quality time while we had the chance. We were married for 47-1/2 years. I am very family oriented with six children all away from home and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. I enjoy the movies and theatre - like to hold hands and enjoy a nice cool nightly walk. Would enjoy my partner having his own hobbies and activities so I could keep up with mine. Sharing a glass of wine and a nice meal is always a favorite date of mine. I do not smoke, ride bicycles/motorcycles or strenuous hiking but I do love walking on the beach or in the mountains. I would hope you enjoy all of the holidays including decorating, and getting together with family and friends. I enjoy watching college sports either in person or on TV, professional football and tennis. Also like to watch horseracing, but am not a gambler. Cards and games are a good way to spend quiet time, but I do not know much about bridge. I love to travel, either by car or commercial. I have lived in Hawaii and been back there 4 or 5 times. My passport is up to date and I am ready to go. I spend my time volunteering, reading and being with family and friends. I enjoy cooking but it isn't much fun for myself. I hope some of these things about me will interest someone and we can chat and get to know one another.
